The Royal Conservatoire of Scotland is a world-class centre of excellence in performing arts education. RCS is a vibrant environment and your leadership as the Head of Academic Administration & Support will be instrumental in leading and overseeing the AAS (Academic Registry) team and its various functions through continuous improvement in the effectiveness, efficiency and quality of processes in support of high-quality learning and teaching outcomes, assessment and student support services.
You will take the lead in the optimisation of service delivery to students, staff and partners of RCS, and external agencies as appropriate.
This is an exciting, rewarding and varied role overseeing the full HE student lifecycle from recruitment to graduation, including admissions, registration, assessment, progression, student welfare and graduation.
You must be able to demonstrate detailed knowledge of academic administration, ideally with experience gained in a higher education/arts environment. In addition to this, you should have strong interpersonal communication skills with sound judgement, sensitivity and discretion, as well as the ability to influence and persuade internal/external stakeholders and build trusted relationships.
