A leading performing arts education institution in Glasgow is seeking a Head of Academic Administration & Support. This role involves overseeing the entire HE student lifecycle from recruitment to graduation, ensuring high-quality learning outcomes and support services. Candidates should have detailed knowledge of academic administration ideally within a higher education or arts environment, along with strong interpersonal skills for effective stakeholder communication.

RCS is a vibrant environment and your leadership as theHead of Academic Administration & Support will be instrumental in leading andoverseeing the AAS (Academic Registry) team and its various functions throughcontinuous improvement in the effectiveness, efficiency and quality of processes insupport of high-quality learning and teaching outcomes, assessment and studentsupport services.
You will take the lead in the optimisation of service delivery to students, staff andpartners of RCS, and external agencies as appropriate.This is an exciting, rewarding and varied role overseeing the full HE student lifecyclefrom recruitment to graduation, including admissions, registration, assessment,progression, student welfare and graduation.
You must be able to demonstrate detailed knowledge of academic administration,ideally with experience gained in a higher education/arts environment.
