Head Dental Nurse
Blackpool

Synergy Dental Group are an award winning, high performing dental group with 16 Practices around the North West and West Midlands. We are an industry leading Cosmetic and Implant Dentistry provider who are committed to ‘Lifelong Learning’. We are currently recruiting for a Head Dental Nurse to join our ever expanding team in line with our ambitious and meticulous growth plans.

The Role:

  1. Assisting Dentists with all treatments providing chair side support to a very high standard.
  2. Ensuring and maintaining a safe, clean and productive working environment in all surgeries and ensuring that all other nursing staff are maintaining the required standards.
  3. Assisting with clinical notes ensuring a high level of accuracy and efficiency at all times.
  4. Leading the team with cross infection controls, ensuring all staff are aware and following regulations and requirements in line with HTM01-05.
  5. Auditing clinical equipment in all surgeries, ensuring the smooth and safe running of the practice.
  6. Leading the CQC compliance requirements, ensuring all current and potential issues are actioned and correctly managed in an efficient manner.
  7. Ensuring all development and support for the clinical team is arranged and monitored appropriately.
  8. Assisting with the day to day running of the practice and working closely with the Practice Manager and being a point of contact for all staff when the Practice Manager is not on site.

The Person:

  1. A candidate with minimum 3 years’ experience (Post Qualification).
  2. Someone with a Full Dental Nursing Qualification and is GDC Registered.
  3. Outstanding organisational skills, with an ability to multitask.
  4. Ability to work under pressure and a desire to grow professionally.
  5. Someone who is IT Proficient (Microsoft Office Packages).
  6. A candidate who remains calm under pressure with a natural problem-solving personality.
  7. Outstanding chair side manner, with a patient-focused approach.
  8. A person with a friendly and approachable demeanour and a passion to help.

The Benefits:

  1. £13.00 - £15.25 Per Hour (Dependent on Experience).
  2. Full Time.
