A leading veterinary charity in Lewes is seeking a Qualified Head Nurse to lead the nursing team at the Brighton Pethospital. You will ensure excellent customer service and clinical care while managing the team's daily operations. As the Qualified Head Nurse (HN), you will lead the Brighton Pethospital nursing team, providing a high standard of customer service and clinical care while promoting pet well-being and supporting Veterinary Surgeons to deliver preventive services and treat sick and injured pets of eligible clients.
You will line manage the Veterinary Nurse and Veterinary Care Assistant teams, leading and developing your team to efficiently manage the hospital's daily workflow. You will be responsible for stock control, hygiene, cleanliness of the hospital and equipment, and will support the Senior Veterinary Surgeon in managing income and expenditure at the Pethospital level, ensuring resources are used cost-effectively.
You must be a Qualified RCVS Registered Veterinary Nurse with extensive experience, including practice and people management, and be committed to the vision and mission of PDSA.
