The University of Liverpool is seeking a passionate Netball Coach to enhance student team performance in the BUCS league. Qualifications

The University of Liverpool is offering a unique opportunity for a coach who is passionate about Netball and is seeking to continue our drive for excellence by working closely with the Club Committee and Sport Liverpool Team.

You must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills and be committed to improving performance and developing Netball at all levels. You will have experience or empathy of working within a student environment.

Job Requirements

• To lead and deliver structured netball coaching sessions to the Club Members at the University of Liverpool.

• To take responsibility for the specific team coaching.

• To work with other coaches and team captains to select teams for the BUCS fixtures.

• To provide feedback and development of club members.

• To assist in the recruitment of club members.

• To adhere to BUCS regulations.

• To be committed to professional development.

• To assist in the development of the Club. Playing Level of Teams

Training Times Mondays – 3 Hours. Time TBC but between 6-10pm Preseason starts mid September, term dates are Oct-Dec, and Late Jan – End of March. Attendance at matches on Wednesday afternoon/evenings is desired and is paid at usual coaching hourly rate.

Required Qualifications/Experience

• UKCC Level 2 or above and with experience of working with advanced level players.

• Experience of coaching players aged 18 – 25

• Experience of working alongside a student committee is desirable.

• Experience of playing Netball to a high level is desirable.
