Lincolnshire Community Health Services NHS Trust is looking for a highly skilled Speech and Language Therapist to join the Head and Neck service in Lincolnshire on a fixed-term 18-month contract.

The role covers assessment, treatment and management of Head and Neck cancer patients with speech, swallowing and voice difficulties, including tracheostomy and laryngectomy, across ENT, Maxillofacial and Oncology teams.

Formación

• Recognised SLT degree and current HCPC registration.
• Postgraduate training in Head and Neck specialty or equivalent experience.
• Experience in management of complex speech and swallowing conditions.
• Experience in Dysphagia, Head and Neck/ENT.
• Experience leading and supervising colleagues or students.
• Experience delivering training in clinical expertise.
• Experience in instrumental dysphagia assessments (VF/FEES).
• Experience working in the NHS.
• Leadership/management experience desirable.

Responsabilidades

• Clinical leadership for SLT service for Head & Neck patients.
• Assessment including VF and FEES, management and rehabilitation.
• Identify and lead service improvement initiatives.
• Provide clinical guidance and training for junior staff and wider team.
