Beryl in Poole is seeking a Head Mechanic to provide technical leadership in the workshop, maintaining the fleet and driving availability. You will mentor the mechanics, set quality standards and collaborate with engineering to improve processes.
The role requires hands-on diagnostic skills across bikes, e-bikes and e-scooters, strong planning and safety focus, and the ability to train and develop the team.

The Head Mechanic provides technical leadership within the workshop, ensuring the safe and efficient maintenance of Beryl's fleet while coordinating day-to-day operations to maximize vehicle availability. Working with the Depot Lead, they mentor the mechanic team and act as the primary technical authority to drive quality standards and process improvements.
The Head Mechanic acts as the technical authority within the depot, identifying recurring issues, improving workshop processes and ensuring consistent standards across all maintenance activities.
Please note, this position is shift‑based with the working week running Monday to Sunday.
