Job summary

Marston’s is seeking a Head Housekeeper to lead the housekeeping team, ensuring rooms and facilities meet our high standards and guest expectations. You will liaise with reception to fulfil guest requests, perform daily room checks, and manage stock levels for tea, coffee and toiletries.

Experience in hospitality leadership, strong organisational skills, and knowledge of COSHH and safety rules are essential. Flexible or part-time hours may be available to suit personal commitments.

Qualifications

• Experience leading housekeeping teams in hospitality settings.
• Strong customer service orientation and guest experience focus.
• Understanding of COSHH and health and safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the housekeeping team to maintain high room standards.
• Coordinate with reception to meet guests' special requests.
• Carry out daily room inspections and replenish supplies (tea, coffee, toiletries).
• Ensure COSHH compliance and general health and safety practices are followed.

The Role

As Head Housekeeper your role will be making sure that you and your team shine at all times, just as our rooms do, to ensure our customers have a very comfortable and enjoyable stay. Liaising with reception is key so that any special requirements made by the guests are catered for. Daily room checks are pivotal along with making sure stocks of tea, coffee, and toiletries are replenished. Efficiency and multitasking are key as is an understanding of COSHH and following health and safety rules.
