Job summary

Marston’s is looking for a Head Housekeeper to lead the housekeeping team across our pubs and hotels, ensuring consistently high room standards and guest satisfaction. You will coordinate with reception for guest requirements and oversee daily room checks, stock replenishment and safety compliance.

Strong leadership, attention to detail, and COSHH/health & safety knowledge are essential to drive quality and efficiency in a busy hospitality environment.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a housekeeping team preferred.
• COSHH and health & safety understanding required.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the housekeeping team to maintain high standards.
• Liaise with reception to meet guests' special requirements.
• Perform daily room checks and ensure replenishment of tea, coffee and toiletries.
• Promote efficiency, multitasking and strong organisational skills.

The Role

As Head Housekeeper your role will be making sure that you and your team shine at all times, just as our rooms do, to ensure our customers have a very comfortable and enjoyable stay. Liaising with reception is key so that any special requirements made by the guests are catered for. Daily room checks are pivotal along with making sure stocks of tea, coffee, and toiletries are replenished. Efficiency and multitasking are key as is an understanding of COSHH and following health and safety rules.
