  We’re looking for a warm, organised, and detail-focused Head Housekeeper to lead our housekeeping team at The Woolpack Inn — a stunning Grade I listed pub with rooms in the peaceful village of Totford, Hampshire.

  Following a major refurbishment, the inn has reopened with stylish interiors, beautifully designed guest rooms, and a renewed focus on high-quality hospitality. With a growing reputation for excellent food, drink, and service, we’re now looking for someone to take full ownership of the guest accommodation experience.

  About the Role:

  As Head Housekeeper, you’ll oversee the cleaning and presentation of our 9 guest bedrooms and public areas, ensuring everything meets the highest standards. You’ll be hands-on, lead by example, and take pride in delivering a warm, welcoming environment for every guest.

  Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the daily housekeeping operation across rooms and shared spaces

  • Maintain high standards of cleanliness, presentation, and guest readiness

  • Manage laundry, linen stock, and cleaning supplies

  • Train, schedule, and support a small team of housekeepers

  • Work closely with the GM and Front of House to ensure smooth service

  • Take initiative on guest touches and room presentation details
