MISSIONS

We currently have an excellent opportunity for an experienced and passionate Head Housekeeper to join a fantastic team at the Lanesborough.

Awarded No. 1 Hotel in London in the Travel + Leisure World's Best Awards, on the doorstep of Hyde Park, just a short walk from Harrods, Harvey Nichols and London’s most exclusive shopping district; Sloane Street and Knightsbridge, this grand luxury mansion has undergone an inspired renovation by the famed interior designer Alberto Pinto. The hotel is home to 93 luxurious suites and bedrooms, modern British dining at The Lanesborough Grill, the vibrant Library Bar and Garden Room and the magnificent Lanesborough Club & Spa.

Candidate Profile
As the Head Housekeeper, you will lead our housekeeping team to ensure immaculate cleanliness and appearance throughout the hotel. Your role is crucial in providing exceptional guest service by efficiently handling requests and queries, and communicating guests' preferences to all departments for a seamless stay. You will ensure guests feel secure and comfortable, knowing their rooms are treated with care and confidentiality. Through meticulous attention to detail, effective collaboration, and efficient resource management, you will help create a home-like environment, enhancing the overall guest experience at The Lanesborough.

Key Requirements
The ideal candidate would be able to demonstrate the following attributes:

  • Previous experience in a similar role within 5 star establishment is essential and experience in the luxury London market would be preferred
  • Showcasing a track record of maintaining high standards of cleanliness and guest satisfaction
  • Strong leadership abilities with a proven capacity to manage, motivate, and develop a diverse housekeeping team, ensuring efficient and effective operations
  • Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks simultaneously, maintaining composure and efficiency in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective interaction with guests, staff, and other departments
  • In-depth knowledge of health and safety standards, with the ability to implement and adhere to all relevant policies and protocols to ensure a safe environment for guests and staff
