Role Overview

Are you passionate about maintaining impeccable standards of cleanliness? Do you have a keen eye for detail and the ability to lead a diverse team?

We are recruiting for a Head Housekeeper to join our team at De Vere Tortworth Court located in Wotton Under Edge.

Compensation and Benefits

The role offers a salary of up to £40k plus a 10% management bonus incentive scheme and excellent benefits, including free use of our gym and swimming pool, £50 staff stays at our De Vere Hotels, 31 days holiday plus a paid day off for your birthday, among others.

Responsibilities

• Setting, monitoring, and maintaining the highest level of housekeeping and guest service standards.
• Ensuring meticulously clean rooms and memorable guest experiences.
• Monitoring and controlling equipment and linen stocks to manage costs.
• Leading by example and fostering a warm, appreciative culture among colleagues.
• Building genuine relationships with the team to create a sense of belonging and pride.
• Acting as Duty Manager when required.

Skills and Experience

• Previous experience in a similar property and role is preferred.
• Strong communication skills to motivate and inspire.
• Well-organized with good time management and scheduling skills.
• IT literacy; experience with Opera or Fourth hospitality systems is advantageous but not essential.
