Job description

Location: THE PIG - in the Cotswolds, Cirencester, GL7 5EE.

Salary: £38,000 per annum, OTE £39,780 including tronc.

Hours: 40 hours per week, including weekends.

We are currently looking for a Head Housekeeper to lead our dedicated housekeeping team.

Some may say the housekeeping team are the back bone of the hotel operation. For our housekeeping team it is not just about making beds, it is about having an eye for detail and ensuring that our guests have a memorable experience.

The role of Head Housekeeper is key to our success. As Head Housekeeper you will need to have a can-do attitude and not be afraid to get stuck in.

As Head Housekeeper, you will be proactive and hands on, leading your team from the front-line to deliver exceptional levels of standards across all areas of the hotel. You will have overall responsibility for the preparation and cleanliness of all bedrooms and public areas. You will proactively manage and inspect the performance of the team, leading by example and providing development opportunities.

You will take responsibility for ensuring the condition of all furnishings, fittings and equipment are in good order liaising with the maintenance team as and when required, as well as managing all linen, deliveries & stock control.

Experience as a Head Housekeeper or within a similar role essential.
