Manor Grange Care Home is a purpose built luxury care service located in the charming setting of Pinkhill. With accommodation for up to 83 residents, our warm and welcoming home offers outstanding Residential, Nursing, Dementia and Respite Care.

We are now looking for an experienced and dedicated Head Housekeeper to lead our housekeeping operations. This is an opportunity to manage a committed team, maintain the highest standards of cleanliness and presentation, and contribute to a warm, well maintained environment for residents, visitors and staff.

What We Offer

• £13.71 per hour
• Contracted to 37.5 hours per week
• Uniform provided
• 5.6 weeks annual leave (based on a full-time contract)

What You Will Do
As Head Housekeeper you will oversee and coordinate all housekeeping operations, ensuring the highest standards are consistently achieved across the home. You will manage and motivate the housekeeping team, provide training and support, and schedule daily tasks to ensure all areas are clean, tidy and well presented. You will maintain accurate inventory records, order supplies as needed, and ensure cost effective stock control. You will conduct regular quality inspections, address and resolve any housekeeping concerns promptly, and work closely with other departments to ensure smooth communication and operations. You will uphold strict safety and sanitation procedures, manage the departmental budget effectively, and play a key role in creating a pleasant, hygienic and homely environment for residents.

What We Are Looking For

• Previous supervisory or management experience in housekeeping is essential, ideally in a care home, hotel or similar environment
• Strong leadership and organisational skills with the ability to motivate a team
• A keen eye for detail and a commitment to high standards of cleanliness
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
