Qualifications

• Proven experience as Head Gardener or similar role.
• In-depth knowledge of horticulture and landscaping techniques.
• Strong leadership and managerial skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to work well in a team and collaborate with other departments.
• Attention to detail and a proactive approach to garden maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Planning, designing, and maintaining the gardens and grounds of the retirement village.
• Managing and supervising a team of gardeners.
• Ensuring the gardens are well-maintained and presentable at all times.
• Implementing seasonal planting and landscaping projects.
• Coordinating with other departments to plan and execute outdoor events.
• Managing the garden budget and maintaining inventory of gardening supplies.
• Providing guidance and support to residents who have their own gardens within the village.
