Job summary

mydentist Banbury is seeking a Head Dental Nurse to lead the Dental Nurse team, assist with rota planning, personnel management and stock control.

You will support clinicians to deliver high-quality treatments and help ensure smooth operation of the surgery, while enjoying a supportive, flexible schedule and access to funded post qualifications.

The practice offers a 24-hour-per-week schedule, a modern environment, ongoing training and a range of wellbeing and savings benefits.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a dental nurse team or similar leadership role.
• Ability to plan staff rotas and manage personnel effectively.
• Experience overseeing materials stock and supply levels.
• Experience supporting clinicians with high-quality dental treatments.
• Strong teamwork and patient-care focus.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Dental Nurse team in the practice and support the Practice Manager with rota planning.
• Assist with people management and development of Students and Trainee Dental Nurses.
• Support clinicians to deliver a full range of high-quality dental treatments.
• Help ensure the smooth running of the surgery and the practice.
