We are currently recruiting for a Head Dental Nurse to join our ever-expanding team in line with our ambitious and meticulous growth plans.
The Role:
- Assisting Dentists with all treatments providing chair side support to a very high standard.
- Ensuring and maintaining a safe, clean and productive working environment in all surgeries and ensuring that all other nursing staff are maintaining the required standards.
- Assisting with clinical notes ensuring a high level of accuracy and efficiency at all times.
- Leading the team with cross infection controls, ensuring all staff are aware and following regulations and requirements in line with HTM01-05.
- Auditing clinical equipment in all surgeries, ensuring the smooth and safe running of the practice.
- Leading the CQC compliance requirements, ensuring all current and potential issues are actioned and correctly managed in an efficient manner.
- Ensuring all development and support for the clinical team is arranged and monitored appropriately.
- Assisting with the day-to-day running of the practice and working closely with the Practice Manager and being a point of contact for all staff when the Practice Manager is not on site.
The Person:
- A Candidate with minimum 3 years’ experience (Post Qualification).
- Someone with a Full Dental Nursing Qualification and is GDC Registered.
- Outstanding organisational skills, with an ability to multitask.
- Ability to work under pressure and a desire to grow professionally.
- Someone who is IT Proficient (Microsoft Office Packages).
- A candidate who remains calm under pressure with a natural problem-solving personality.
- Outstanding chair side manner, with a patient-focused approach.
- A person with a friendly and approachable demeanour and a passion to help.
