mydentist Plympton is seeking a Head Dental Nurse to lead the Nurse team and support the Practice Manager with rotas and stock control. You will guide and mentor junior staff while ensuring high standards of patient care.

Working in a busy 5-surgery practice with modern equipment, you will support clinicians to deliver a full range of treatments and help maintain smooth daily operations. The role offers a strong work-life balance and professional development.

• Experience leading a Dental Nurse team or supervising dental nurses.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Dental Nurse team in the practice and assist the Practice Manager with rotas, people management and stock control.
• Support clinicians to deliver a full range of high-quality dental treatments and ensure smooth running of the surgery and practice.

As a Head Dental Nurse, you’ll be responsible for leading the Dental Nurse team in the practice and will support the Practice Manager with planning rotas, people management, materials stock management and the development of Students and Trainee Dental Nurses. You will also support clinicians to deliver a full range of high-quality dental treatments and help to ensure the smooth running of your surgery and the practice.
