Job summary

Kissdental Altrincham seeks a Head Dental Nurse to lead our nursing team at a fully private practice within a growing dental group. This full-time permanent role offers an attractive hourly rate and a supportive environment focused on excellent patient care.

You will manage day-to-day nursing operations, support compliance, and assist dentists during complex procedures while promoting a 5-star patient journey.

Qualifications

• Prior Head Dental Nurse experience preferred.
• Able to confidently manage a team and lead clinically.
• Dentally software experience preferred but training provided.

Kissdental are currently seeking a Head Dental Nurse to join us at our fantastic private practice, Kissdental Altrincham. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a vibrant and family-orientated practice & lead our lovely nursing team, whilst also joining a group of 9 reputable fully private practices in the North West.

You will be joining a fantastic team of clinicians and support staff who all work together in harmony to deliver a brilliant patient journey. The practice is very accessible via public transport on train and tram, with parking available nearby.

Mondays, Wednesdays & Thursdays (8.30-5.30)
Tuesdays (8.30-6.30)
Fridays (7-2.30)

Key Responsibilities

• Leading our experienced Nursing team, and ensuring that we are delivering an outstanding level of patient care
• Performance management, clinical reviews, appraisals, rota's and wider team management
• Supporting with practice compliance & audits, stock management & ordering
• Assisting our dentists during complex procedures, performing chairside duties, and maintaining patient safety

Skills, Knowledge and Experience

• We are ideally looking for a candidate with prior Head Dental Nurse experience, but are also open to experienced Qualified Nurses looking for their next career step
• Must be able to confidently manage a team and lead by example clinically in the practice
• Confident in presenting themselves when meeting with patients and be willing to go the extra mile to ensure all of our patients are given a 5 star service
• Dentally software experience is preferred but not essential, as full training will be provided
• DBS checked with the right to work within the UK
