Senior Sous Chef | Full Time

The Role:

As a Senior Sous Chef, you will be an inspiring leader, fostering a positive environment for your team and guests. You will support ongoing coaching and development of your team to excel, while driving restaurant performance and delivering exceptional results.

What We Look For:
  • Experience leading a kitchen team as a Head Chef or Senior Sous Chef, capable of driving performance in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication skills, with a genuine approach to conversations, ensuring your team feels supported and heard.
  • Proven ability to maintain high standards in food quality, health and safety, and financial performance including gross profit, stock control, and labor costs.
  • Ability to foster a coaching culture, working with the Head Chef on recruitment and development, and promoting personal and professional growth.
  • Quick thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make swift decisions under pressure.
Responsibilities:
  • Create a positive, caring environment where your team feels valued and motivated.
  • Ensure all dishes meet high standards and that health and safety regulations are strictly followed.
  • Manage financial aspects of the kitchen, including GP, stock, and labor costs.
  • Lead recruitment and ongoing development of your team, inspiring them to flourish in their roles.
