Job summary

Flixton Swim Team in Manchester is seeking an enthusiastic Head Coach to lead our coaching programme and shape the future of our growing club. You will inspire young swimmers and manage a coaching team in a supportive environment.

The role involves setting strategic direction, delivering high-quality training and competitions, mentoring staff, and ensuring safeguarding and Swim England compliance in all activities.

Responsibilities

• Lead the strategic direction of the club's swimming programme.
• Design and deliver high-quality training and competition programmes.
• Coach top performance swimmers and support development squads.
• Lead, mentor, and develop the coaching team.
• Monitor swimmer progression and create development pathways.
• Attend competitions, camps, and club events.
• Work closely with our Executive Committee, parents, and local swimming partners.
• Ensure high standards of safeguarding, health & safety, and compliance with Swim England requirements.

Working Hours

Part-time
