Job description

To own and lead the fitness product, positively impacting members and mentoring the team to deliver the best fitness experience.

This is a full-time position reporting directly to the General Manager. The role is responsible for delivering an elevated fitness experience through products such as MOVE, REDEFINE, Personal, and Group Training.

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Represent Everlast Gyms as a fitness ambassador
  • Demonstrate our elevated ways of working consistently
  • Lead national initiatives and incentives like #WorkoutWednesday and in-gym challenges/events
  • Champion our member onboarding program, MOVE, leading by example and training the team to improve confidence and delivery
  • Manage the REDEFINE product, driving sales and engagement
  • Recruit, train, and mentor Fitness Coaches & Personal Trainers
  • Oversee group training schedules and monitor performance against KPIs
  • Enhance member engagement within your community
  • Deliver classes as per gym guidelines
  • Focus on driving new member sales and retaining existing members to grow the member base
  • Support all revenue streams, including membership sales and product sales, to improve profitability
  • Lead by example on reception and the gym floor to enhance member experience
  • Provide regular, constructive feedback to team members to support their development
  • Drive personal training session sales and deliver sessions monthly
Qualifications

Requirements

  • Passion for health, fitness, and wellness
  • Experience in running personal training sessions
  • Strong leadership and coaching skills
  • Experience delivering various group training modalities
  • Knowledge of current fitness industry trends
  • Excellent communication and management skills to motivate the team

  • Flexibility to work hours including weekends and bank holidays as needed
