Job Description:

AsHead Chef, you will be at the forefront of our kitchen operations, shaping theculinarydirection of the establishment. Your role involvesleading the kitchen team,maintaininghigh standardsof food quality,monitoringKPI’sand ensuringoperationalefficiency.

This is a pivotal leadership position for someone whothrivesin a fast-paced environment and is committed to excellence.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the team through positive and constructive methods.
  • Achieving consistent GP results.
  • Accurate Labour forecast to ensure that targets are achieved.
  • Maintain a high customer satisfaction score.
  • Ensure the Prep Team & Goods receiverare following management instructions.
  • Precise ordering to ensure full menu availability and minimum wastage.
  • Ensureaccuratedaily due diligence.
  • Looking after staff wellbeing,working towards highstaff retention.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Train and mentor kitchen staff tomaintainhigh food standards.
  • Pioneer a positive work environment and fostering teamwork.

Requirements:

  • Previousexperience as aHeadChefor similar role in a busy kitchen environment.
  • Strong culinary skills and a passion for quality and creativity.
  • Leadership abilities with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Completeunderstanding of EBITDA & GP.
  • UnderstandingPnL’sto make positive cuts,increasing overall profit.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
  • Experience inorganising and leadinga large kitchen team.
