A Head Chef position like no other…

What could be more important than fueling the next generation for adventure? Our catering team serve tasty & nutritious meals, combining familiar favorites and new cuisines. Our centralised team provides recipes, allowing you to focus on executing proven menus, ensuring delicious and safe food following all health, safety, allergen, and food safety standards.

You will work limited late nights, with most Fridays or Saturdays off outside peak season, and no work over Christmas, making this a great role for career progression in catering without sacrificing social and family time.

As Head Chef, reporting to the Catering Manager, you'll manage a team of Chefs & Catering Assistants, organize rotas, set objectives, and identify training needs. You'll ensure procedures are followed to maintain high food hygiene standards and manage complex dietary requirements, alongside overseeing financial aspects, production planning, waste, and stock management.

Is this you?
  • Experience as a Sous Chef/Head Chef in a mid-to-large scale dining environment
  • Understanding of food mass production
  • Confident leader with strong organizational and decision-making skills
  • Excellent knowledge of food hygiene & handling complex dietary requirements including allergies and intolerances
  • Hold your City & Guilds 7061/2 (or equivalent) and Level 3 or above in Food Safety and Allergen Management
