Job summary

Corecruitment is seeking an experienced Head Chef to lead premium events catering across South Central England, delivering high-volume hospitality for major sporting, luxury, and VIP events.

You will own the events from menus and pre-production through to logistics, team leadership and live delivery, with peak May–September and travel involved. A structured leadership role with creative input into menus.

Qualifications

• Head Chef or experienced senior events chef.
• Background in events, stadiums, contract catering or high-volume hospitality.
• Strong operational and logistical skills.
• Confident leading large teams.
• Passionate about great food at scale.
• Happy with travel and a busy summer events season.
• Reliable, organised and self-sufficient.

Responsibilities

• Lead large-scale event catering operations.
• Manage chefs and freelance teams.
• Plan production, logistics and live delivery.
• Deliver exceptional food at high volume.
• Develop menus alongside the culinary team.
• Take ownership of quality, organisation and standards.
• Contribute to menu development and planning during the off-season.
