Job summary

BaxterStorey is seeking a highly skilled Head Chef for a premier contract catering site in The City of London. You will lead a team to deliver outstanding food experiences across retail and fine dining whilst upholding luxurious standards.

We expect extensive Head Chef experience, a passion for gastronomy, and strong leadership. You will drive excellence, mentor staff, manage budgets, and partner with clients to shape unforgettable hospitality experiences.

Qualifications

• Proven experience working as a Head/Executive Chef or similar role.
• Obsessive passion for food and creating experiences.
• Experience in managing, training, and supporting a team.
• Financially astute with budget management and commercial performance.
• Excellent coaching, delegation and influencing skills.
• Ability to prioritise multiple projects in a fast-paced, creative environment.
• Meticulous organisational abilities and high attention to detail.
• Empathetic, clear and effective verbal and written communication.
• Adaptability with a solution-oriented mindset.
• Strong strategic thinking and critical reasoning.
