Head Chef - Newmarket Racecourse, CB8 0TF | Full-Time / Permanent

£35,000 + excellent benefits including healthcare, wellbeing support, 23 days' annual leave plus bank holidays, life assurance, meals on duty, and more.

An ambitious Head Chef to help us create exceptional food experiences for Levy on a full-time basis, contracted to 40 hours per week.

Head Chef - The role

  1. Preparing delicious, high-quality food that delights our clients and customers
  2. Identifying opportunities to improve our food service
  3. Creating a positive kitchen environment where your team feels welcomed and supported
  4. Delivering our tasty food concepts to our customers
  5. Representing Compass Group UK & I and maintaining a positive brand image
  6. Ordering food, managing stock control, and controlling food waste
  7. Overseeing kitchen cleaning responsibilities to maintain hygiene standards
  8. Managing budgets and successfully meeting financial targets
  9. Complying with Food Handling & Hygiene standards
  10. Complying with Health & Safety regulations
