The role:

As a Designate Head Chef, you will inspire your team to exceed guest expectations while maintaining high standards. You will coach and develop your team, drive performance, and deliver excellent results.

About you:

• Prioritize fostering a positive and inclusive work culture through emotional intelligence, inspiration, and effective delegation. Your ability to influence and empower emerging leaders is key, as you provide training, coaching, and mentorship.
• Dedicated to delivering an exceptional guest experience, ensuring every dish meets high standards, and equipping your team with the necessary skills and mindset.
• Experienced in maintaining food, health, and safety standards, and understanding the financial aspects of a kitchen, including gross profit, stock control, and labor costs, while proactively spotting opportunities.
• Focused on building and nurturing your team, from recruitment to ongoing development, fostering personal and professional growth.
• Committed to creating an inclusive environment where team members feel respected and valued, enabling them to thrive in their roles and careers.
• A proactive problem solver, capable of quick decision-making and thinking on your feet.
