We are working with an amazing venue in West Sussex and are looking for a Head Chef for the kitchen. This role is based on a 40-hour week and requires some weekend work, likely every other weekend on a rotational basis. Core hours are 8am to 4:30pm. During the summer, the operation is busy, and in winter months, it slows down.
The Head Chef will work with a Sous Chef, CDPs, and KP. You will produce a daily lunch offer, as well as sandwiches and light snacks. There are multiple outlets, so good organisational skills are essential. You will also write menus for all food offerings. There may be 2-3 evening events during the year where additional hours are required.
A creative Head Chef will be able to expand the current food offer and attract more customers throughout the year. Experience working in a commercial operation or at a visitor attraction would be beneficial to understand customer expectations.
