The Kings Head in Upton St Leonards is seeking an experienced Head Chef to lead the kitchen, taking ownership and delivering top-quality dishes in a busy pub setting. You’ll manage a kitchen team, drive food quality, and collaborate with the General Manager to create a memorable guest experience.

We’re open to Kitchen Team Leaders stepping up, as well as Sous Chefs and current Head Chefs ready for a bigger challenge. A passion for great food and a calm, confident leadership style are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a kitchen team and stepping up to Head Chef.
• Led teams such as Kitchen Team Leaders, Sous Chefs or Head Chefs seeking growth.
• Strong focus on food quality, consistency and presentation.
• Able to manage busy services and maintain high standards.

We're looking for a Head Chef to take the lead in the kitchen at The Kings Head in Upton St Leonards.

This is a great opportunity for an experienced Head Chef or Kitchen Team Leader ready to step up and take ownership of their own kitchen.

Set in the Gloucestershire countryside, The Kings Head is a characterful village pub with a loyal local customer base, a busy food offer and a spacious beer garden. From pub classics and generous mains to proper Sunday roasts, food is at the heart of what we do.

The opportunity

As Head Chef, you'll take ownership of the kitchen and play a huge part in making The Kings Head a place people want to come back to.

You'll:
