Head ChefMarine Court, Littlehampton£28,369.89 per annum37.5hours per week (across a 2-week rota and include 1 Sunday in 2)Week 1 Monday, Tuesday 11.30 -20.00, Wednesday, Thursday 07.00 -15.30 and Sunday 14.00- 20.00Week 2 Monday 07.00 – 15.00, Tuesday, Wednesday 12.00 – 20.00, Thursday and Friday 07.00 – 15.00No lsplit shifts or multiple meal sittings. No employee contribution is required)Annual leave: 25 days’ holiday rising to 27 plus Bank Holiday leave allowance (pro rata)Enhanced maternity and paternity payLife assurance: 3 x basic salaryAccess to a range of wellbeing tools and support including Headspace App and an Employee Assistance Programme.Uniform and training is provided.The RoleAs a Head Chef you will support a small catering team to provide nutritious and well-balanced meals for our service users and other visitors.Working alongside our other Head Chefs based at our two other recovery centres, you will devise seasonal menus, using your creativity to ensure specific dietary requirements are catered for, meals are within budget, and presented to a high standard.Additionally, you will be responsible for the kitchen at Marine Court, liaising with catering suppliers, monitoring stock levels and ensuring all activities undertaken comply with food safety requirements.About YouNaturally you will have experience as a chef, devising and preparing nutritious and good quality meals. You will have excellent communication skills and have supervisory experience, supporting and leading a small team.
