Youthful, bustling Young's Exeter pub is seeking a Head Chef to lead creative menus and manage a busy kitchen. You will write and shape seasonal dishes using local produce, while maintaining quality, portion control, and costs across all-day service.

Autonomy to develop menus, mentor a kitchen team, and grow with apprenticeship schemes and masterclasses. A vibrant pub setting with strong team spirit and opportunities for progression.

Qualifications

• Inspire and lead a kitchen team while developing, costing and producing fresh seasonal menus.
• Ability to manage GP and labour with strong planning and organisational skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and inspire a kitchen team to deliver high-quality seasonal menus.
• Cost and produce fresh menus for various revenue streams.
• Manage kitchen staff rota, training and health and safety.
• Create new dishes and daily specials.
• Drive sales and growth through kitchen and front-of-house collaboration.
