Avery Healthcare Group is seeking a Head Chef for Camberley Heights Care Home in Camberley. You will lead a culinary team to deliver nutritionally balanced, high‑quality meals for residents, while managing budgets and ensuring food safety standards.

The role requires experience managing a kitchen team in care or hospitality, and a catering qualification such as City & Guilds 706/1 and 706/2 or NVQ. DBS check and right to work in the UK are required.

Qualifications

• Two years’ experience managing a culinary team in the care or hospitality sectors.
• Hold a relevant catering qualification – City & Guilds 706/1 and 706/2 or NVQ.
• Demonstrate passion and commitment to delivering high‑quality culinary standards to residents.
• Demonstrate an ability to control a budget.

Responsabilités

• Manage and lead a culinary team that provides nutritionally balanced, high‑quality meals within budget.
• Prepare modified diets that look appealing and are well-balanced and in accordance with IDDSI guidance.
• Place food orders with approved suppliers, controlling stock levels and costs within budget.
• Supervise and direct kitchen staff and the Host team, training unqualified staff as needed.
• Practice safe systems of work and assess risks to residents, visitors, and staff.
