Ashbourne Court Care Home in Andover is seeking an experienced Head Chef to run the kitchen and meal experience for elderly residents. You will design a varied, nourishing menu and lead the catering team to deliver high-quality mealtimes.

This role offers progression, a DBS-checked environment, induction and ongoing training, plus a pension. You will work 40 hours per week, Monday to Sunday, contributing to residents' wellbeing and a warm, homely dining experience.

Qualifications

• Recent experience cooking for large numbers in a commercial setting.
• Experience in managing and motivating a catering team.
• Experience providing food for people with special dietary requirements.

Responsibilities

• Run the nursing home kitchen and meal experience for residents.
• Design and prepare a varied, nourishing menu.
• Maintain high food standards and quality across mealtimes.
• Lead, train and support the kitchen team.
• Mentor staff on quality, safety, hygiene and cleanliness.
