Job summary

Holiday Inn Reading-South is seeking an experienced Head Chef to lead our kitchen team and oversee all culinary operations, ensuring high-quality meals for guests. You will manage menus, enforce food safety, and collaborate with chefs and staff to drive excellence.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the daily operations of the kitchen, including food production, preparation, and presentation
• Manage inventory, including ordering, receiving, and organizing ingredients and supplies
• Train, supervise, and mentor kitchen staff, providing guidance and support
• Collaborate with management to develop cost-effective strategies to optimize kitchen operations
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including proper food handling, storage, and sanitation
• Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, including equipment maintenance
