Job summary

Oakland Care in Swanley is seeking an exceptional Head Chef to elevate our residents' dining experience. You’ll lead the kitchen and dining service, craft exquisite menus and ensure every meal is a masterpiece while modelling outstanding leadership and service.

You will manage budgets, stock, rosters and audits, recruit and train your team, deliver nutritious menus including therapeutic diets and dietary requirements.

Qualifications

• Experience as Senior Chef in a high-quality service.
• Ability to manage dietary requirements and allergens.
• Knowledge of HACCP and therapeutic diets.
• Proven leadership and training abilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Kitchen and Dining service across the home in line with Health, Safety, Food Hygiene and COSHH regulations.
• Deliver safe, nutritious and appealing menu options including therapeutic diets.
• Ordering, receipting and accurately maintaining and monitoring catering spend within the allocated food budget.
• Managing stock levels and completing catering audits; supervise rota for coverage.
