Job summary

itison Limited is seeking a Head Chef for Brel, a premier venue in Glasgow's West End. You will lead the kitchen, deliver exceptional dishes and manage costs while guiding a busy team to maintain the venue’s high standards.

You will oversee training, food safety, and cost reporting, with a rota of 4 days on and 3 off. There is a generous benefits package including meals, drinks, and staff perks.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years working as a Sous Chef in a high quality busy kitchen.
• Proven track record of delivering exceptional dishes under time pressure.
• Strong communication with team and managers.
• Attention to detail in stock control and cost reporting.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the daily operation and lead the team to deliver high-quality dishes.
• Train the team and maintain high standards.
• Manage costs, budgets, KPIs and rota planning while controlling team costs.
• Ensure food safety, risk assessments and health & safety compliance.
• Build strong team relationships to deliver memorable guest experiences.
• Develop dishes in line with current trends and venue brief.
