About The Pier View:

Brand new to Worthing’s vibrant seafront in 2025, The Pier View is the exciting sister site to the hugely successful Park View in Durrington. We’re not just another pub — we’re creating a multi-space venue with a café-brunch bar, a large, well-equipped kitchen, and a bold vision for redefining fresh, exciting pub food with a twist.

This is your chance to get in early and make your mark on a brand-new venue backed by a passionate and experienced management team.

The Role:

We’re looking for a forward-thinking, creative, and edgy Head Chef or Kitchen Manager to lead our kitchen team and shape the food offering at The Pier View. This role is ideal for someone who’s ready to break the boundaries of traditional pub grub and bring a fresh twist to seaside dining.

You’ll be responsible for setting up and launching our kitchen and café-brunch service, creating menus that reflect our brand’s energy, and delivering consistently high standards. You’ll work closely with our leadership team and have the support of our established sister site to help you grow into the role — or hit the ground running if you’re already there.

What We’re Looking For:

A passionate chef who wants to push creative boundaries in a pub setting

Experience managing or leading a kitchen team

Strong understanding of food costing, stock control, and delivering strong food GP

Confidence in designing menus that balance creativity, flavour, and profitability

A cool head under pressure and a team-first mindset

A drive to grow with a developing business and seize long-term opportunities

Someone excited to help build a new food identity from the ground up
