Job Summary

Rajmahal is an Indian authentic cuisine restaurant based in Yaxley, Peterborough which is family run and has been running for over 3 years under previous management and name. We are currently looking for a Head Chef with an immediate start. You will have complete control of the kitchen and have meaningful input into running of the business.

Responsibilities

• Have a proven track record working in restaurants, able to work in a busy kitchen to the highest of standards.
• Someone who is hands on with cooking and enjoys working in a fast paced environment and takes pride in plating, quality and taste of every dish leaving the kitchen.
• Someone who is a good manager and understands the value of building and running a professional and happy team.

Qualifications

• A minimum of level 2 food safety and ideally a minimum of 1 year experience.
• Able to communicate in English and has the right to work in the UK.
• Working in a team and adjusting to the needs of the business.
• Someone who is looking to grow with the organisation.

Salary

£27,000 to £30,000

Working Days

6‑day week
