Join Ego, part of Mitchells & Butlers, to train as Head Chef in our premium pub and restaurant family. You’ll learn to build a kitchen to the Mitchells & Butlers standard, driving your district to success while developing leadership skills and a passion for great guest experiences.

Expect a structured six‑month program, shop discounts across brands, health and dental plans, pension, and holiday benefits as you progress toward leading a kitchen.

Formación

• Be a seasoned pro in leading a team and developing a business.
• May have previously worked as commercial catering manager, school kitchen manager, head chef, sous chef or related roles.

Do you have experience of leading a team to success in the kitchen and fancy making a move? Or maybe you fancy bringing your kitchen management skills to the pub and restaurant business.

Based within a district you will need to drive and have access to your own vehicle. With the support of your district armed with a training plan you will grow your team and smash your targets.

When you become Head Chef in Training, you’ll learn how to build a kitchen to be proud of the ‘Mitchells & Butlers’ way. You'll be ready to go in no time. Most of our Head Chefs in Training are in their own kitchen within 6 months.

WHAT DO I NEED?

You’ll…

• Be a seasoned pro in leading a team and developing a business.
• You may be currently working as a commercial catering manager, school kitchen manager, care home head chef, sous chef, deputy kitchen manager or the manager of an independent business or equivalent.
• Be able to drive, in order to support business in your district whilst training.
