We are looking for a passionate, creative, and career-driven Head Chef with experience in all forms of catering to help develop our evolving catering offer for an elite sports team in Milton Keynes.

Our Milton Keynes location serves around 1500 customers across 4 outlets, including 3 restaurants, 3 coffee bars, and a deli bar. We also cater high-profile hospitality events. Job Description

What will keep you busy:

  1. Plan, prepare, cook, and present food to the required standards.
  2. Ensure that the company’s reputation for excellent food and service is maintained with clients and customers.
  3. Control portion sizes and monitor waste.
  4. Ensure supplies are correctly issued, used, and accounted for, including stock takes and food rotation procedures.
  5. Maintain records related to food production activities and supplier information.
  6. Ensure Health and Safety and Food Safety Standards are maintained in line with company policy.
  7. Set objectives and oversee the day-to-day running of the kitchen.
  8. Assess employee performance, recognize training needs, and identify potential.
  9. Hold regular team meetings to communicate targets, standards, and relevant information.

Qualifications

What you bring to the table:

  1. A passion for food.
  2. Good secondary education.
  3. NVQ qualification or equivalent.
  4. Successful progressive background in catering.
  5. Basic and Intermediate Food Hygiene Certificates.
  6. Strong supervisory experience.
  7. Excellent background in high-end hospitality across multiple locations.
  8. Ability to demonstrate a passion for food and customer service.
