Job summary

Goldenkeys is assisting a countryside gastropub near Bristol in finding a passionate Head Chef to lead the kitchen with creativity and flair. The role offers a base salary of £45,000 per annum plus a £7,000 service charge, with live-in accommodation available and a 45-hour workweek.

You will have full autonomy over the menu, work with fresh, locally sourced ingredients, and mentor a brigade of 4/5 talented chefs in a beautiful rural setting.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a kitchen team and delivering high-quality dishes.
• Ability to design menus with seasonal, locally sourced ingredients.
• Strong leadership and mentoring skills for junior chefs.

Responsibilities

• Create a variety of stunning dishes from seasonal menus.
• Hold full autonomy over the menu and curate delicious dishes.

Responsibilities as the Head Chef...

• Creating a variety of stunning dishes from the gastropub's ever-changing seasonal menus


• Having full autonomy over the menu and curating a menu of delicious dishes


• Making the most of the kitchen's access to fresh, locally sourced ingredients


• Passing on your knowledge and expertise to the more junior chefs in the brigade
