My client is a fast-growing, forward-thinking food business in East London on a mission: delivering performance-led, functional meals that fuel energy, gut health, and mental clarity.

We are now looking for a hands-on, solutions-focused Head Chef to lead our production kitchen, shape our menus, and build a high-performing team.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a Head Chef or Senior Sous Chef from a catering, dark kitchen, CPU, or large-scale production background, especially if you’re passionate about nutrition, wellbeing, and food innovation.

YOUR DAY-TO-DAY:

  • Develop and prepare great dishes
  • Oversee high-volume daily production while maintaining top quality
  • Design and develop nutritionally balanced, flavour-forward menus
  • Manage food costs, stock, and ordering
  • Maintain excellent food safety and hygiene standards
  • Train and develop the team around you

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR:

  • Proven experience as a Head Chef or strong Senior Sous Chef
  • Background in catering, dark kitchens, or production kitchens
  • Strong leadership and organisation skills
  • Confidence working with volume and speed, without sacrificing quality
  • Interest in nutrition, functional food, and wellbeing
  • Someone who’s practical, solutions-driven, and loves working at pace
