Head Chef - Central Production Unit Wimbledon

Location: Central Production Unit Wimbledon, SW19 8UH

Rate of Pay: 60,000 - 70,000 per annum

Working Pattern: 5 over 7, predominantly Monday - Friday, 7am to 3pm

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Prepare and oversee all food preparation to the highest standard.
  2. Ensure food is produced in a timely manner for smooth service.
  3. Ensure availability of all necessary ingredients.
  4. Develop and plan menus aligned with client and customer expectations.
  5. Be creative in menu planning, incorporating client and customer feedback.
  6. Maintain pride in food quality and hygiene standards.
  7. Manage the kitchen team, providing feedback and coaching.
  8. Ensure team members complete up-to-date COSHH and Food Hygiene training.
  9. Manage a team of 4 full-time staff and up to 20 casual team members during events.
Our Ideal Candidate:
  • Experience managing 100,000 covers during event seasons.
  • Background in hospitality/event catering.
  • Previous or current Head Chef experience.
  • Experience managing a team.
