Qualifications

A Head Chef position like no other

What could be more important than fueling the next generation for adventure? Our catering team serves tasty & nutritious meals, blending familiar favorites with new cuisines to keep the adventure going. Our centralised team provides recipes, allowing you and your team to focus on executing proven menus while ensuring all health, safety, allergen, and food safety standards are met.

You will work limited late nights, with most weeks having a Friday or Saturday evening off (especially outside peak season), and no work over Christmas. This role offers a great balance of career progression in catering without sacrificing social and family time.

Responsibilities
  • Reporting to the Catering Manager, manage a team of Chefs & Catering Assistants
  • Organise rotas, set objectives, and identify training needs
  • Ensure procedures for food hygiene and safety, including allergen and dietary requirements, are followed
  • Manage financial aspects of catering, production planning, waste, and stock
Candidate Requirements
  • Experience as a Sous Chef/Head Chef in a mid-to-large scale dining environment
  • Understanding of food mass production
  • Strong leadership, organizational, and decision-making skills
  • Excellent knowledge of food hygiene and handling complex dietary requirements including allergies and intolerances
  • Hold City & Guilds 7061/2 (or equivalent) and Level 3 or above in Food Safety and Allergen Management
