Cuisine: Contemporary Cantonese | Refined Casual Dining
Hours: 48 hrs/week (2 double shifts, 3 singles) | Closed Sundays & Mondays

An exciting opportunity has opened up for an experienced chef to take the lead in a new restaurant from a Michelin-starred chef, focused on modern Cantonese cuisine. This is a pivotal role, offering full creative collaboration from the development phase through to launch and beyond.

About the Restaurant:

68-seat venue with an outdoor terrace

State-of-the-art open kitchen and private dining space (15–20 covers)

Relaxed but refined service style

Lunch and dinner service only | Last orders by 10:30pm

Creative freedom working closely with the chef-owner

Hands-on role shaping the kitchen and menu

Has a strong background in premium Cantonese or high-end Asian cuisine

Brings confident leadership to a dynamic, fast-paced kitchen

Is passionate about pushing boundaries in modern Chinese food

Can lead, train, and inspire a small brigade (team of 8 chefs)

Ideally comes from a fine dining, luxury hotel, or high-end private members club environment

This role is perfect for a current Head Chef or an ambitious Senior Sous Chef ready to step up and drive a new concept. Deep expertise in Cantonese cooking is a plus, but not essential—curiosity, creativity, and dedication are what matter most.
