Location: Castle Dene Bournemouth BH8 0DB

Pay rate: £14.50 per hour

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Head Chef to join our team at Castle Dene, a specialist dementia and residential care home in Bournemouth.

Role Details

• 4-day working week, 7:30 am - 5:30 pm
• Every other weekend off

Responsibilities

• Creating, preparing, and cooking meals for residents
• Ensuring high standards of presentation and nutrition
• Supervising and supporting kitchen staff
• Planning meals in consultation with residents and care staff to meet dietary needs
• Adhering to health & safety legislation
• Managing the catering budget

Candidate Requirements

• Passion for cooking and high-quality meal production
• Organized with ability to meet deadlines
• Qualified with NVQ Level 2 in Food Production/Hygiene (Level 3 preferred)
• Understanding of health and safety legislation
• Leadership skills and team player attitude
