Job summary

CH&CO is seeking a Head Chef to lead food service for Compass Group UK&I on a part-time basis (32.5 hours per week). You will create exceptional culinary experiences, drive development opportunities, and maintain a high-performing kitchen culture.

This role offers progression and rewards for excellence within an inclusive environment. Key responsibilities include menu execution, stock control, budgeting, and ensuring hygiene and safety standards are met.

Qualifications

• Hold City & Guilds 706/1 & 2 or NVQ equivalent.
• Experience in a Head Chef role is essential.
• Demonstrated leadership in a kitchen environment.

We're currently recruiting an ambitious Head Chef to help us create exceptional food experiences for CH&CO on a part time basis, contracted to 32.5 hours per week.

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Preparing delicious, high-quality food that delights our clients and customers
• Identifying opportunities to improve our food service

• Representing Compass Group UK&I and maintaining a positive brand image
• Ordering food, looking after stock control and controlling food waste
• Overseeing kitchen cleaning responsibilities to maintain hygiene standards

• Complying with Food Handling & Hygiene standards
• Complying with Health & Safety regulations
