Job summary

Thomas Franks is seeking a Head Chef for a prestigious Warminster location. You will lead a kitchen serving breakfast, lunch and hospitality across a seven-day operation, focusing on fresh seasonal ingredients and scratch cooking in line with brand standards.

The role demands strong leadership, excellent teamwork and a passion for high-quality school catering, with opportunities to develop bespoke menus and mentor junior chefs within a thriving kitchen environment.

Contract: Full Time , Permanent
Salary: 45000
Hours: 40 per week

A co-educational private boarding and day school in Warminster, Wiltshire for pupils aged three to eighteen. The schools consists of a Pre-Prep, prep and senior school. Catering for just under 700 students with a core offer of Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner with a lot of hospitality. As this is a boarding school, it operates 7 days a week and shift patterns are 5 over 7. Additional benefit at this location is free parking on site.

We are looking for a talented Head Chef to join our team at one of our prestigious locations in Warminster.

You will be excited to work with fresh seasonal ingredients & regularly changing bespoke menus. You will be creative and have the opportunity to showcase your skillset.

Key responsibilities:

• To work well in a team, providing breakfast, lunch & hospitality.
• To produce food for service using fresh ingredients, cooking from scratch and following the companies brand standards
• Ensuring company food standards are adhered to and wastage controlled.
• Ensuring all Food Hygiene and Health & Safety policies and allergen control procedures are followed.
