The key Responsibilities will include:

  • Manage all production functions of the kitchen and the kitchen staff.
  • Motivate, develop and train supervisors and culinary staff to meet and exceed established food preparation standards
  • Exhibit exceptional leadership by providing a positive work environment, counselling employees as appropriate and demonstrating a dedicated and professional approach to management.
  • Reviews staffing levels to ensure that guest service, operational needs and financial objectives are met
  • Ensure the correct procedures are followed while maintaining high standards at all times
  • Actively involved in menu development and calculates food costs for all menu items
  • Ensuring compliance with Health & Safety and Food Safety requirement
